Initially I trained in Art and Design and subsequently gained employment as a technical illustrator, leaving to start up a garden business in North London, a dream come true.

Working in this area I soon came into contact with a high demand for garden design. Fortunately it wasn't long before I got involved in making gardens.

Over a period of 30 years I have learnt to listen to my customers individual ideas, before I make any attempt at design, only then am i ready to proceed.

Postal planning is no different, providing I have all the information, I can visualize for you and provide a plan and planting list, which will enable you to construct a carefully considered design.

I now live in Suffolk where I am constantly experimenting with different planting schemes at Rose Cottage.

Please send all information required to the address stated and a cheque payable to R. M. Gutridge to commission the design work required. Please refer to Postal Planning Charges to see the amount to be paid, relative to the size of your garden.
